Thanks to all of the playwrights who were generous enough to submit their hard work to our critical eyes.
The response to our call for The Simian Showcase exceeded our expectations: over 175 submissions! It’s very encouraging to have our theatre company’s ideals met with that sort of enthusiasm from playwrights across the continent and around the world.
Our intrepid staff of reader monkeys continues its difficult task of weighing, measuring and otherwise evaluating all of the scripts. Rest assured, the perfect pawful of plays will be found for four coveted spots in our smorgasbord of theatre, music, and merriment by January 3rd, 2011.
